Cirrus tumbler 巻雲タンブラー

Inspired by the gracefully meandering lines of clouds flowing across the sky while I was sitting out on the water one day wondering how I could bring some of the beauty of that moment into a functional glass design someone might use and enjoy on a daily basis.

There are varying degrees of transparency throughout the vessel which gives each piece its own distinct appearance and provides different visual scenes with varying angles and lighting.

This series was designed to enhance and collaborate with various food, drink, flower, or other decorative uses you might you might imagine. I've come to think of the vessels in this series in particular as complete when put to good use and look forward to seeing how that plays out in various culinary or decorative scenes over the years.
